These interactive maps allow the user to visualize the NGA-Subduction Database Data in a compact and efficient manner.
Click on a colored marker to visualize that location's data.
NOTE: These values are intended for visualization purpoposes.
- You can visualize the location of each recording station in the NGA-Subduction Database.
- The markers are color-coded based on their Vs30.
- Click on a station to visualize some additional metadata as well as the recordings corresponding to that station.
- You can visualize the location of each epicenter in the NGA-Subduction Database.
- The markers are color-coded based on their event Magnitude.
- Click on a epicenter to visualize some additional event metadata.
- 2a. When you click on a epicenter location you can also select an intensity measure and visualize the geographic distribution of that IM recorded for that particular event. You may also select this IM in the event tables below the map.
- 2b. Click on a record in the Intensity-Measure map and you will be able to visualize the response spectra as well as the acceleration, velocity, and displacement time series for that record.
- Scroll down on this page to select an intensity measure for a particular event to visualize its geographic distribution.
