Dr. Jungchul Park is a Professor in the Department of Safety Engineering at Korea National University of Transportation (KNUT). He received his M.S and Ph.D. in Industrial and Management Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in the field of human factors and ergonomics. He had received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the same university. Before joining the KNUT faculty, he was a senior researcher in Samsung Electronics in 2017 and worked at Harman/Becker Automotive Systems in 2015. His main research interest is to prevent human errors for system safety through better design. He is particularly interested in the design and evaluation of human-machine or human-computer interfaces.
