Pranav is a graduate student at UCLA pursuing his Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering. He is passionate about reliability engineering and risk analysis, with a particular focus on hydrogen-based systems. His current research involves modeling hydrogen flow systems and conducting Failure Mode Analysis to identify and mitigate risks in critical components. Pranav's academic journey includes an exchange program at UC Berkeley, where he explored Modelling and Simulation of Advanced Manufacturing Processes, Composite and Optical Materials. During his undergrad in Chemical Engineering, Pranav has worked on diverse projects, including lithium-ion batteries and hydrogen fuel cells. During his professional journey, he gained hands-on experience in pilot-scale up at Mars Materials.
